The High Ground of Texas will host wrap up its 20th Anniversary Celebration and kick-off the 2009-2010 Program Year in fine fashion in Odessa on November 6th.

The High Ground will holds its 2009 Annual Membership Meeting and special events in Odessa on November 5th and 6th. All participants can register online at https://www.regonline.com/HG2009AnnualMeeting. Registrations are open to all High Ground Members and Non-Members. Sponsorships for the event are also available and sincerely appreciated. The events will be held at the MCM Grande hotel. The first session of the 2009-2010 REDI Course will be held on November 5, 2009 in conjunction with the Annual Meeting.
A strong and dynamic program is in store for the Annual Meeting along with reports on the previous High Ground Program of Work and the announcement of the new 2009-2010 Program of Work and Marketing Initiatives. Topics to be discussed at the meeting include a look at the Oil & Gas Industry in the High Ground, How Economic Development Organizations are Handling the Challenging Economy and a "Best Practices" look at several of the projects that took place around the High Ground region in the past year. The High Ground will also announce plans for the Austin Allies event, the 2009 Amarillo Farm & Ranch Show Tailgate Party, the 2010 World Ag Expo, the 2010 Wind Power Show, the 2010 Texas Solar Conference, and the 2010 Pack Expo. Other new Marketing Initiatives will be announced and discussed by the membership. Special acknowledgements will take place during the Annual Meeting Luncheon along with a Raffle for the benefit of the High Ground Education Foundation. A special "pre-meeting" Networking Party and Fish Fry is taking place at the hotel on Thursday evening, November 5th.
